BOREHOLE DRILLING
Purpose:
Enhance reliable access to clean and safe water for the CARUMCO community.
Objective:
- Tap into the reliable water source that is located approximately 300 meters away from campus.
- Utilize advanced water supply pumping equipment that can be housed within the power supply and provide consistent flow to the reservoir tank.
Estimated Cost:
$25,000.00
This covers borehole drilling, purchase and installation of a water pump, plumbing equipment, storage tanks, and the construction of a water-fetching basement.
Duration:
To be completed between 2025 and 2026
Expected Outcome:
Upon completion, the project will:
- Provide sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water for the CARUMCO community.
- Improve community health by reducing waterborne diseases and
- related health issues.
- Reduce expenditure on water bills.
